Go! Edit camera software available for download
The Go!Edit software that's compatible with the PSP camera (Go!Cam in Europe) is now available for download. The program bears a remarkable resemblance to the Japanese Chotto Shot. The difference? Well, it's in English, to start.European PSP owners can visit YourPSP to download the program. Also available is a handy instruction manual for those that want to check out all the features of Sony's free PSP image editing program. Our brief test of the software shows an easy to understand interface that's clean and fun. Of course, without an official camera release scheduled for the US, we're sad to admit that this program won't do us much good ... for now.
1. Download the program zip file.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file.
3. Connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable.
4. Go to the PSP/GAME folder.
5. Copy UCES90027 folder into the GAME directory.

not working for me. corrupt data?
pjak @ May 25th 2007 10:09AM
This is just perfect, I imported the camera a few months back but was slightly sad that I couldn't use the software. When the camera european release date was mentioned I almost thought to sell mine. This obviously solves that.
(also proves that Sony can be one jump ahead if they need to be...)
RoDrAs @ May 25th 2007 6:10PM
It isn't working for me too, I always get the error code 80020148. Here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/post-665825.html#p665825 it says it means "PRX type unsupported". Do you know what I can do to solve this?
Twitchy @ May 25th 2007 9:21PM
To the two above - you do realise the software requires FW 3.40? Also ensure that the folder is named correctly.
To PSPFanboy - thanks dude you rock! I can't download it directly off the Sony site and thought I was doomed, but you came throug for us again!
g @ May 25th 2007 11:39PM
Sorry #4 to have offended. Didn't realize it required 3.40. My apologies.
steve @ May 26th 2007 4:05AM
Hi!I live in greece and in greece i dont see a psp camera is not for sail.I have version 3.40 and GO EDIT is play for my psp but i havent psp camera thanks!
RoDrAs @ May 26th 2007 6:22AM
I hex-edited it to 1.00, but I guess it must need some prx's only avaliable in 3.40. I'll install 3.40 OE-A.
Tom @ May 26th 2007 9:54PM
Just FYI. If you are using 3.40OE version, make sure you change the kernel back to 3.40 to get this file worked. Otherwise, it will be blank screen.
anyone @ May 27th 2007 2:36AM

For everyone having problems... Just copy the Folder into your GAME folder NOT your GAME150 or GAME340 folders....
Make sure the Cam is connected to psp prior to launching the eboot...

shyylove @ Jun 21st 2007 6:46PM
Hi I have a problem and I hope someone can help me! I currently live in China and I bought a Japanese version of the camera for my son. My son has taken pictures and videos perfectly fine. How can I get the pictures and videos that I have taken with the camera onto the computer? I don't have the original download disc that came with the PSP on my computer, is that the problem? Someone please help if you can. Thanks
aulina @ Jun 26th 2007 3:26AM
To shyylove #23, just connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable. Go to Settings on your PSP, select USB connection. Your computer should be able to recognize it as a removable media.
Pictures taken in chotto shot should be in the directory E:\PICTURE\CHOTTO_SHOT (where E = your PSP's memory stick).
From then on, just copy and paste.
I haven't taken any video, but if you browse around, you should be able to find a folder called CHOTTO_SHOT and the video files should be in there.
Hope that helps.

For some reason, when it gets to the choose a country screen it freezes, and turns off. Anyway to fix this?
TrunksSSJ23 @ Jun 30th 2007 11:10PM
Mine freezes at the Select A Country screen, and
automatically turns
off..how do I fix this? And is the camera suppose to be attached
already, or do I attach it after the Go! Edit software fully loads
(and hopefully does not freeze).
mari1r @ Jul 1st 2007 4:47AM
thanks PSPFANBOY,, it works!
mari1r @ Jul 1st 2007 9:05PM
I had a problem getting this to work,, but now it works. I am using fw3.40oe.. this will require you to use an extra 80mb,, so all in all 160mb.
Place the UCES90027 folder (with its contents) in "GAME" folder and then copy it and place another in "GAME340" folder. (also with its contents).
Now try launching one of the GO!EDIT's on your PSP. (Note,, if it crashes, or you get a blank screen, reset and try the other.)
Anyways it works for me, but if anyone can simplify or fix it so i dont have to use an extra 80mb,,, GO RIGHT AHEAD as that extra space can be used for pics or videos.
Thanks for listening..

Hi, I would like to suggest that when you get to the goedit screen on yourpsp.com you first read the help file in the top right hand corner of the goedit site. This clearly states that you need to have your psp connected to your computer, set to usb mode on your psp and enter your email address and password for the psp store for the download to work.It also suggests that you install the latest java on your computer.Follow these steps and the goedit software is installed automatically on your psp. I hope this helps!
